  3. In the wax to watch column is the Masters on "16 Tons" - the first time Frank Zappa appeared on vinyl on guitar on this piano/gtr etc instro.

  4. "Dedicated To The One I Love" by the Shirelles has yet to show up
    in '61 on KFXM. It was number 1 for 5 weeks in LA around Febuary.

  6. DEDICATED had it's KFXM go round in
    1959. I guess they thought once was
    enough. But that was a regional thing
    in 59. It became a huge hit nationally
    2nd time around.
