  1. Just looking over the new FAB40 and
the Pick Hits of the week.
One of my favorites has always
been BUY FOR ME THE RAIN.

I'm listening to the new oldies
station KFXM on kfxm.com as I read
    the charts. What a coincidence.
Up comes the song BUY FOR ME THE
RAIN just as I scan through the
    Pick Hits of the week.

  2. Buy For Me The Rain has always been one of my favorites. Also kfxm.com is great, I love listening to it. That is so good that they are playing that song.

  3. KFXM.com has a niche. Playing
    mostly the stuff nobody touches
    and then the known hits.
    Quite the reverse of today's
    limited-playlist stations.

Great great stuff to listen to.
Oh, yea, the addition of the
    original KFXM 590 jingles is
a perfect touch. After all, these
were the hits played there back
then. No "FUTURE HITS" but lots
of "FLASHBACK" stuff. I keep it
on all the time. Once in a while
a song comes up that I hadn't heard
at all. Not often, but they're there.

It's like finding the old KFXM all
over again. Let's see how this
    station evolves.

  4. The BOSS of KFXM Chris Compton will be adding NEW air talents to KFXM such as ME, who personally visited KFXM at the Holiday Inn in 1965 gazing thru the window at Conqueror Dave Fransen, and who personally KNOWS and RESPECTS the KFXM legacy. I am humbled to be following the footsteps of the KFXM DJ legends, and will do MY best to keep the legacy alive into 2007 and beyond!

  6. #30 "The Love I Saw In You Was Just A Mirage" By Smokey & The Miracles One of the Greatest Motown
records ever!Should have been a bigger hit.

The Seeds "ICan't Seem To You Mine"
A strange , wierd record at the time..but I loved it on the radio.

    on KFXM.com? No audio can
be heard. It was ok Tuesday.
Tried on 2 computers in different
    places. No sound. Says
    it's streaming. ????

  8. Well, I just tried it, and there is no sound. They must be having technical difficulties. Hope it's back soon!

  9. KFXM.COM audio has been back all day
    today, Wednesday.

    What great oldies!!

Agree that 'THE LOVE IS SAW IN
YOU WAS JUST A MIRAGE' is an underrated song. Just
    great beginning to end.
    That Smokey knew lyrics and
music well !! But then, the
    whole MOTOWN gang knew how
    to touch us.
