KFXM and K/MEN 45 Years Ago Feb 1, 1963

Walk Like A Man-Four Seasons #1 on K/MEN and Hey Paula-Paul & Paula still #1 on KFXMKFXM putting on The March Of Dimes Dance and Show at the Swing Auditorium.
KFXM Wax To Watch
How about First Rhapsody Of Knives, Forks and Spoons-Central Hi School Band? Sound like a hit?

KFXM putting on The March Of Dimes Dance and Show at the Swing Auditorium.

My favorite in the K/MEN top ten Don't Make Me Over-Dionne Warwick
on KFXM it's Pipeline-Chantays
It's Bill Watson vs. William F. Williams at the "Talk-a-Thon"

Honorable Mention on KMEN
My Son The Doctor-Bent Forcep. Has anybody heard that song? I assume it's suppose to be a novelty song.
Duane Eddy has a new one to follow Guitar Man, and it's Boss Guitar.

  1. Can't open the KFXM chart.
    KMEN chart opens ok.
Double click on the char and
    you'll see.
    Thanks for fixing it.

  2. I redid it. It moved KFXM from the bottom to the top.
If it isn't at the top, trying hitting the refresh button.
It now opens for me, so it should work for everyone else.

  3. Yes it does. Thank you.

I noticed a song by Ben E King
on the KFXM chart in the top
    15. TELL DADDY. Never heard
it. How'd it get that high?

  4. I was out in San Bernardino today.
    Driving west on Baseline
from the 30. Passed the KMEN
towers and thought of all the
    magic they created. Thought
about all the good that came
    out of that station.

    Continued to the 215,
    drove south to the 10.
    Passed the KFXM towers and
    thought of the great memories
I have of this station and
the effect it had in my growing
    teenage years.

    Stations come and go.
    Memories they create last
    forever and ever. Amen!

    Grateful to the people that
    made such indelible markers
    in my memory.
