  1. Wayne Newton's DREAMS OF THE
    EVERYDAY HOUSEWIFE is charting
    high on both stations.
    Bug Glen Campbell's version is
nowhere to be found. I think
they were out at the same
    time. I remember hearing it
but I guess not at these stations.
I liked both versions and still
    do.
    Who played Campbell's version.

  2. Nilson's EVERYBODY'S TALKING
    making it's debut? I don't ever
    remember hearing in Summer of
    68. Not played much, I guess.
It didn't even make the Billboard
    100 that year.
But it sure was big hit one year
    later. Amazing.

    Same thing happened to another
    RCA record: Youngbloods' GET
TOGETHER. Not much ado in 67 but
    what a hit in 69.

  4. If KFXM played the Campbell version
also, it didn't list it on
the charts. I see NEWTON but
    Campbell is nowhere.
    Musta been an "extra" somewhere
    on the non-published survey.

The control room had a list of
songs that went beyond the published
    list.

  5. I also remember hearing Glen Campbell's version, and in 1968. Besides KFXM and KMEN I was able to pick up KCBQ (San Diego) in the daytime. Maybe that's where I heard it. Any KCBQ experts? Did it chart on KCBQ?
