KFXM and K/MEN 1st Beatles #1 50 Years Ago

On both KFXM and K/men, the #1 record of the week is I Want To Hold Your Hand-The Beatles.  KFXM also includes I Saw Her Standing There as #1.  This is the second week the song is on the survey for each station.  If you notice on K/men, they have the date of 1/3 as when the song was first played on the station.   Also included on each survey is Please Please Me.

KFXM Top Hits of The Early 70s

Taking the first half of  KFXM's 1970's surveys, I came up with the top hits on KFXM from 1970 through 1974.   Here is what I came up with a few years ago, showing the Top 772 hits from this 5 year span of the early 1970s.  Starting with Roberta Flack and ending with Rick Nelson.

Many years ago on my old computer (The computer I use now is about 7-8 years ago), I calculated the top hits of the 1960s using my KFXM surveys.  This list is based on the position the songs reached and the number of weeks on the survey.  The program was DOS, so it does not work on this computer.  So the following chart you see are photocopies of the list.
