Spring 1968, a damn great exciting time to have listened to AM Top 40 Inland Empire radio back then. No kidding!
You can just feel the psychedelia in the surveys. Swablr, Just Dropped In, Green Tamborine, and Itchycoo Park (my favorite). It made/makes me want to roll one up, smoke it, and head over to a concert at the Swing. There was even Bottle of Wine for the less adventurous. Where have the last 45+ years go. Did I forget to grow up?
Ah, yeah, man. I think alot of us groovers "forgot to grow up". But the psychedlia was certainly still there like you said, man, flowing like Orange Sunshine. And about six months later, the Iron Butterfly would reign in with "In-A-Gadda Da-Vida". Far out, man!
