At this point, I don't know. I believe Ron Christian is gone. In a couple weeks, you will see a couple new faces on the KFXM survey
Hard to say about the error concerning the problematical reference between "The Sweet" and the "1910 Fruitgum Company", but knowing brother Brucie's propensity for cornbread humor and off-the-cuff wit, that statement in the Tune Sheet may have been one of his deliberate (not-to-be-taken seriously) attempts of simply making a joke, hoping someone would catch the faux pas.
Upon re-reading that statement, Bruce the 'Features' man, may have also been the victim of glucose intoxication while typing up his weekly 'Music' copy -- given all that sugary stuff he was dealing with back then!!
Interesting how the put the exact street addresses of the beauty contest winners. I wonder if ANY of them STILL live at that address or if that address is STILL in their family.
Can tell you one thing: who old contest entrants and/or their families most assuredly NO LONGER LIVE in the downgraded environs of the City of San Bernardino -- now
