Looking ahead, can't believe
next year is the 50th anniversary
of KMEN. Milestone and what
an era in local radio.

Some of the new tunes here hung on
through 3/10/1962.

Another anniversary sorely missed was the 82nd year since radio K.F.X.M. OFFICIALLY began broadcasting back around October 1929, when the established pioneer station received its new call letters from the former Federal Radio Commission.

And most of those new tunes, first broadcast on KFXM 1240 K.C., definitely preceded KITO-cume-KMEN! (LOL)
