I don't recall knowing that Bobby Blue was subsequently at KMET-FM in its heyday times. What other KMEN or KFXM alumni went on to the monster LA FMs (FM was the "dark side" of it's day) rockers (KMET, KLOS, etc) in the late 60's, early 70's? (I know William F Williams was at a Pasadena rocker for a time around 1971)
Bob b. Blue first went to KNAC-FM in Long Beach BEFORE joining up with KMET. and Johnny Kaye along with Chris Roberts headed to KUTE-FM following their departure from Tullis & Hearne's employ. currently, Bruce Chandler is doing weekends on K-EARTH (and Johnny is P.D. there now) while Chris Roberts was a KFI sports announcer and is also the longtime radio voice for UCLA sporting events.
I ran a concert promotion company from 1974-1981 that booked many acts of the day in Southern California. I can verify Bob B. Blue worked at KMET in 1977 after working at KNAC. He also had a T.V. show on cable at one point. He was a very well know DJ and a personal friend of mine.

Yes, Bobby Blue was at KMET in 1977 in its heyday. But at KWST and KNAC before going there.
