Hey, what's day-month-year of the K/men survey you posted??? One thing I always hated about the so-called "real radio" was that those people just couldn't keep up with publishing the full date on many (if not most) of their weekly surveys throughout the 1960's -- sometimes only a month and the day was listed. It somehow never occurred to them that the public might one day want to look up their music surveys for background information but you need good dates printed on the surveys to help find the one you're looking for. I guess that what's we got for having radio broadcasters doing printed journalism back then!!!
BTW, KFXM was the exception: always dating their survey publications properly through the many years they put them out. And unlike most radio people back then, Al Anthony had a college degree with education and experience in printed journalistic endeavors, which is why the Tiger Mag and Tune Sheets looked so professional in composition and content.
The comment made earlier by Anonymous is correct, that KMEN usually failed to list the complete dates on their published top 40 surveys. So can we have an issue date for this week's posted listing? Thank you.
