The survey includes a seperate Beatles K/men Ten, just an indicator of how pervasive the Beatles were at that time. Can't think of any individual or group before or since that's had such a central presence in the music of the day. I'd give awards to Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson (Jackson variations) probably for coming the closest.

I don't recall if they did so at this early date, but K/MEN was known for playing tracks from the Rolling Stones albums, not just the singles.

As far as the Stones go, as John Lennon once said, "Spiggy Topes & The Turds have copied everything we (The Beatles) ever did..."
So much for Rolling Rocks originality!

Funny that KMEN posts a photo of
Stones and president of local
Beatles fan club.
They couldn't find one for the
Stones fan club?

Stones fan club?"

As stated before, the Stones were led by Spiggy Topes, so in the end, maybe that's why KMEN couldn't find a publishable photo for a fan club full of Turds!
