The survey includes a seperate Beatles K/men Ten, just an indicator of how pervasive the Beatles were at that time. Can't think of any individual or group before or since that's had such a central presence in the music of the day. I'd give awards to Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson (Jackson variations) probably for coming the closest.

I don't recall if they did so at this early date, but K/MEN was known for playing tracks from the Rolling Stones albums, not just the singles.

As far as the Stones go, as John Lennon once said, "Spiggy Topes & The Turds have copied everything we (The Beatles) ever did..."

As stated before, the Stones were led by Spiggy Topes, so in the end, maybe that's why KMEN couldn't find a publishable photo for a fan club full of Turds!
