K/mentertainer May 27, 1966
Rolling Stones with Paint It Black the new #1 song this week. The only new song in the top 10 Younger Girl-Hondells #8. Interesting new entries this week Grim Reaper Of Love-The Turtles First appearance by Neil Diamond with Solitary Man. Also Little Girl-Syndicate of Sound
Man, I just love this site. I've been popping in for years! Am a big radio freak and grew up in Ontario, California. Picked up the L.A., Inland Empire and OC stations where I lived. Always loved KFXM and KMEN due to their airplay of gritty Anglo R&B (ie. Stones, Them, Yardbirds). Anyway, I was perusing these 1966 charts which seem to drop off the edge of the world on the week ending 5-27-66. What happened? I was on a roll. Do you have the rest?

Starting in January this upcoming year (2011), after the completion of the 1965 run, I will start posting the 1966 K/MEN and KFXM surveys.
