TRUCK STOP by Jerry Smith sounded
all too familiar in 1969.
Was it the same Jerry of
Cornbread and Jerry back in
1961 with an instrumental called
LIL OLE ME. Liberty.
The 2 tunes are too similar to
be anybody else.

Anybody know?

Did some research.

Jerry Smith is the same
on Cornbread and Jerry.

Cornbread was actually a
nickname used but it's
really Bill Justis.

Hard to locate an MP3 of
LITTLE OLE ME by the duo.
TRUCK STOP is easy to find.

I have the 45 liberty record.
Would love a clean MP3 of
LITTLE OLE ME.

i recognise one of the guys on the survey...it's happy harry scarborough, who would spend a bit of time on the monterey peninsula in the early '70's at KMBY 1240!

love the playlists!
