Much great stuff at this
time on the charts.
Headed to 1973 and some
black hole in the music
scene. Kind of a depressing
time the first half of 73.
Nothing really exciting
but it does get better on 2nd
half.

Tell us what you did not like about the first part of 1973, and what music was an improvement in the second half.

Complicated.
It just seemed like a black
cloud hung over the music in
first of 73.

In my opinion some of my favorites of 1973, not necessarily the best, but songs I would listen to now. My Music-Loggins & Messina, Tequila Sunrise-Eagles, Tell Her She's Lovely-El Chicano, Cover Of The Rolling Stone-Dr. Hook, Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight-James Taylor, My Maria-B.W. Stevenson, Live & Let Die-Paul McCartney, Money-Pink Floyd, China Grove-Doobie Bros, Saturday Night-Elton John, Rocky Mountain Way-Joe Walsh, Knockin' On Heavens door-Bob Dylan, The Love I Lost-Harold Melvin, Smoke On The Water-Deep Purple, and Little Willie-Sweet(Not kidding, I really do like that song)
Maybe tomorrow I'll tell you the songs from 1973 that if they came on the radio, I would turn off, like The Morning After-Maureen McGovern.
