Strange to see THE BIG HURT by
Tony Fisher.
A few years later it would
be THE BIG HURT by Ms. Toni Fisher.

Same song? Never heard the 1959 version.

A few years? It would be a week or so.

yes, same song. Actually, it was billed as Miss Toni Fisher just a few weeks later

I remember that song by Ms Toni Fisher
in 1962 not early 1960.
I think it was on BIG TOP? Not sure.
Issued twice by her?

OK, it was WEST OF THE
WALL I had confused with in
1962. BIG HURT was late
1959, as other posters here noted.

They both had this flanging
effect. Magic from
GOLD STAR studio in Hollywood.
Home of that Spector magic also.

The Big Hurt was on Signet: Big Top signed her, but her followups weren't as major.

Personally, I couldn't stand the Big Hurt - I called it the Big Turd (clever, right?) - don't care to listen to it to this day.

thanks, Megablogger. finally, some intelligent commentary on "The Big Nothing"!

By your logic then, anyone who likes The Big Hurt(me), isn't intelligent? I thought a blog was for discussing different points of view. Sounds like you're trolling for a fight.
