Every pick hit was a Twist title, including Hank Ballard's original version...a new twist in picking hits I guess.

By now Chubby Checker had run
it up to # 1 twice. Historical
and never repeated again.
I just keep thinking that
KMEN is just 90+ days away.
I think King Records kept Ballard's original in print...they were smart about that, then.
Chubby Checker's re issue of "The Twist" will hit #1 on Billboard in Early '62. KFXM has the new flip side "Twistin USA" listed this week.
The Original flip of 1960's release was called "TOOT"/
