KRNO was a top 40 station for some period of time in the 1950s. This survey they printed was actually The Top 100 from Billboard from November 30, 1959, even if it is dated 1958. Anyone know when KRNO started and ended their Top 40 (100) programing?
Also who was Charleyville 7-10 daily?

The 4th page of the KRNO survey will not enlarge when clicked on. Tried and tried, but no larger image produced! Needs a fix please
OK--I thought it worked when I originally posted it, but trying it again I couldn't get it to enlarge.
Had a hard time fixing it, but it should work now. If not let me know.
Yeah, Doug, the 4th image enlarges just fine now, thank you.
The DJ's name Charley DeVille, if I remember it correctly. He worked at KRNO with the father of a school buddy of mine whose last name was Goodwin (who was also heard on KFXM).
Doug, I have tried to contact you via the email on your profile, but don't get a reply. Can ya get back to me, I have some info of import for you regarding KFXM/AM.
Thanx, TICDS@SBCGlobal.Net
The father was Tom Goodwin who also went on to KCKC and then shortened his name to Tom Good at 1280 KFOX in Long Beach. Tom is now a TV engineer in LA, I think at KABC ch.7. I remember hearing KRNO as top 40. Norm Woodruff was on as a jock. Norm later went on as a newsman on KRLA. I can not recall the top 40 start and stop dates for KRNO. Jonny Bruce
