The most requested box at the bottom of the survey is interesting. One song Holiday-Bee Gees is hitbound. By being one of the most requested, you would think it would already be headed up the top 30.

I was at that Donovan concert. I remember an announcement that the warm-up bands wouldn't be playing due to a request by Donovan. He didn't want the audience to get excited by loud music but to be in a relaxed mood for his performance. Sparing no expense my girlfriend and I had seats in the $5 section.

I have never heard those songs either ! They may have only been "paper ads", a practice common in those days to apease the record promo people. I never did that myself. I like both of the Donovan songs mentioned, but I would go with "Colors" by Donovan. One of my Turtle favs is on the chart this week "You know what I mean". Jonny Bruce
Were there any disappointed Caretakers fans there, when their group didn't go on at the Donovan concert? I've never heard of the group Chocolate Tunnel. Probably their only opening for a star attraction and didn't get to play.
I don't remember any shouting or other objections to the announcement of no Caretakers or other opening act. Thinking about it now, maybe the opening acts weren't intended to show up or didn't get paid and the annoucement was a covering ruse. After all it was a school night...
