KFXM January 5, 1973 and Top 100 of 1972

I know it says January 12, 1973, but trust me it's a January 5 issue
Me & Mrs Jones-Billy Paul #1
New in the top ten
Superstition-Stevie Wonder #4
Living In The Past-Jethro Tull #6
You're So Vain-Carly Simon #9
Highest debut
Smoke Gets In Your Eyes-Blue Haze #26
New
Love Jones-Brighter Side Of Darkness
#1 on KFXM in 1972 I Can See Clearly Now-Johnny Nash

Superfly-Curtis Mayfield #100
Lookin' Through The Windows-Jackson Five #94 and #95
So what other song belongs on the top 100, when KFXM played it at the end of 1972/beginning of 1973?
We may never know.

So the blaring error has now come to my attention, showing The Jackson 5's record single "Looking Through Windows" at both
the #94 and #95 positions on the
KFXM Top 100 of 1972!

I put that cumulative year-end listing together as a favor for Chris Roberts (then Music Director) and recall working all night to get that project delivered on time for the Tune Sheet printing. I was quite bleary-eyed by the time (like 4 o'clock in the morning) KF's countdown tally was finalized on my trusty Underwood typewriter.
It's amazing that it took 38 years for this mistake to be pointed out!

One more thing more about when I
compiled that 1972 Top 100 for "Tiger Radio KFXM": at that point in time, yours truly was working across the street for "The Rock of The Inland Empire KMEN 129"!

so what song is missing?

In response to the query over the confusion about positions #94 and #95 on the KFXM Top 100 for 1972, (by sheer luck) i discovered a xeroxed copy of the original hand-typed list given to Chris Roberts; and so, 38 years later, here is the CORRECT information:

at No. 94 - LOOKING THROUGH THE
WINDOWS... Jackson Five

at No. 95 - KEEPER OF THE CASTLE
...Four Tops

BTW, it turns out that i did NOT make the errors in Tiger Radio's
'72 Top 100! my copy shows i got it right, so the mistake was done by the PRINTER -- who incorrectly transcribed my typewritten notations.

It's nice to be the King, and it's also nice to be vindicated!

But are you Master of your Domain?

Yes, I am The Master, and that is sufficient for the simple minds
who dare to question otherwise!

This is not a contest.
Would not challenge Master.

Hey! Anyone who knows #95 was Keeper Of The Castle-Four Tops is definitely The Master. Thank you, thank you very much.

Ok so none of you are SEINFELD
fans. That Master thing was
an episode.

Never could cotton to that
Sweinberg lunacy, too Jewish
for my taste!
