There was a comment about Pop Musik by M being on the national charts in 1979. It was also on KFXM in 1979. It got up to #7 this week in 1979 and then descended down the charts. It reappeared July 1980 at #24 on KFXM and got up to #7 again. I guess it got popular again in San Bernardino, at least on KFXM.

So the KFXM survey has no djs listed but there's an 800 number to call with requests. So how did that work for the listeners? Did they just call and get an answering machine? It's really not surprising that KFXM faded away...
Ditto on the previous poster's comments. At this point in time, KFXM eventually became just another generic sounding radio outlet being gradually milked out to an ignominious fade-away!
