Phil Knight was a great jock and a nice buy. I wonder what ever happened to him ? Jonny Bruce
Wasn't the group WIND actually
Tony Orlando minus Dawn?
Jon, i seem to recall listening to a "Phillip Knight" during the 1980-1990's period on the former KXOA-FM (107.9 M.C.) during this Sacramento station's different program formats including "K/108 - The Mellow Home" and "Arrow 108"...
although i never had contact with this air personality, i always kinda wondered if this was the same Mr. Knight from KF???
according to my research, Tony Orlando was indeed the lead singer for the STUDIO group "WIND" somewhere between the period 1967 through 1969 when they had their only Top 40 hit recording
"Make Believe" b/w "Groovin' With Mr. Bloe" on LIFE record label.
it should be noted that Wind had nothing to do with Orlando's later successfull hit-maikng incarnation as DAWN.
