"The Marathon Of Hits" 1962 that KFXM had been asking you to vote for in the last few weeks has been done. On the back of the weekly survey, a list of the top 59 of All Time, and the contest winners from Riverside and San Bernardino. I don't know if KFXM ever did this again. If so I have never seen a printed list.
The Mountain's High-Dick & Dee Dee #1 Elvis and The Platters each with three entires, Ritchie Valens, The Coasters, Chubby Checker and The Everly Brothers with two each.
I know the picture shows each side of the survey is a different color. I have two surveys of this week and they are on slightly different colored paper.. The front is from one, and the the back is from the other.
On the current survey
Breaking Up Is Hard To Do-Neil Sedaka #1
up to #2 West Of The Wall-Toni Fisher
New in the top ten
Twist and Shout-Isley Brothers #9
Highest debut
You'll Lose A Good Thing-Barbara Lynn #30
also debuting
Let's Dance-Chris Montez #33
Sheila-Tommy Roe #35
Bustin' Surfboards-Tornadoes #40
New
He Hit Me/No One Ever Tells You-Crystals
You Don't Know Me/Careless Love-Ray Charles
Point Of No Return-Gene McDaniels

"Marathon of Hits"...what an awesome list!
Great charts. That Marathon
chart alone would make a good
"greatest 59 Hits" by itself.
All of them great stuff.
Thanks for the clean prints
every week.
