No not KCKC. Country had a resurgence in the early 70s unlike any other time I can recall. Stay tuned, lots more country-flavor pop hits coming through the mid 70s.. Lynn Anderson, Sammi Smith, Kristofferson, and so many more. One of my alltime favorites, Freddy Hart, hits big with EASY LOVING coming up in mid 71.
...NOT TO MENTION Jerry Reed, Crystal Gayle, Jessie Colter, Charlie Rich, Glen Campbell, Donna Fargo, Mac Davis, John Denver. like the man said, a resurgence of Country & Western music BEFORE pseudo-cowboy urbanization took over!
BTW: the same situation can be also be observed of KCKC's country charts for that same period as pop/country hybrid music crossovers were the order of the day.
