Is TEMMA HARBOUR a man or a woman. Racy lyrics if it's a woman.
ACTUALLY, "TEMMA HARBOUR" was a song written by Mary Hopkin and is about the coastal ghost-town of Temma Harbour in Tasmania. It used to be a port for the Balfour tin mine. It is now very deserted and very un-tropical, particularly in winter. this song is a favourite of the composer's and she sings it frequently in her live performances. in her own words, the lyrics convey her wonderment of discovering such a desolate place and finding joy and beauty in just being surrounded by the natural mystique imagery of it all.
