Highest debut Linda Ronstadt #24 Long Long Time Hit Bound
Wigwam-Bob Dylan No lyrics in this Bob Dylan song. It's a catchy little tune, with Bob Dylan mumbling through the song, but with no actual words.
Monster Mash-Bobby "Boris" Pickett. Second time around, but interesting it's a hit again in July.
#1 Close To You-Carpenters
Highest debut signed Sealed delivered-Stevie Wonder #27
In The Summertime-Mungo Jerry

I see CINNAMON GIRL by Neil
Young way up on the charts.
Did either station play it
by The Gentrys? It was a
much better version. This
one rocked.
I have it as an MP3 if anybody
wants it.
Going back, looking at the June 19, 1970 K/men, the Gentrys version got up to #24
I remember playing the Gentrys version at K/MEN. In fact I have a promo copy in my collection that has BLUE vinal!
You'd think by now I could spell, vinyl!!! Sorry.
Johnny
Just heard thru the grapevine that over at the NEW KFXM-FM, that Saturday guy Bill Earl has quit his weekender gig in favor of "special guest appearances" down the pike, and most important to readers here is that Johnny Helm of the original KFXM and KMEN will be moving into Earl's Saturday Noon-3pm shift, and no longer will be jocking on Sundays. Just thought your readers might want to know.
