Did JAY MILLA ever make it to
the Jock lineup at KFXM?
Never heard him.
There's a shakeup in the lineup
coming up within 2 weeks, as I remember it from 38 years ago.
Thom Devine to all nights?
Johnny Kaye to evenings?
Bruce Chandler from KMEN to
KFXM afternoons.
Something like that.
Thom Devine belonged
on KMET. He was really a flower
child from the 60s. I think he
was tired of the Top 40 fast
formats. He couldn't do stuff
on top 40 that KMET would allow.
Such as sets of songs that
matched.
Doug, notised the 1971 KFXM Tiger Tune Sheet and K/MENtertainer surveys posted this week are dated for SEPTEMBER... these appear to be last month's poop sheets or is this One in error???
kudos to administrator Doug for catching us up on this week's 1971 survey pairings...
remarking about Bruce Chandler's rather un-precedented feat of showing up simultaneously on both rival station's poop sheets: "Timing Is Everything", and Bruce surely got the luck of the draw during this post-ratings period of major changes for each broadcaster.
