This was one of the greatest concerts I ever attended. John Fogerty and CCR were phenomenal and it is so great to hear John on the road doing these songs again today.
Lee Michaels and his amazing drummer, Frosty, also put on a powerful performance and Lee was much less stoned out than he was at later concerts when he became a headliner.
Keep on chooglin'!
I was "the fortunate one" who MC'd CCR's previous concert, and recently (September) just happened to be at SERIUS radio in Rockefeller Center while John Fogerty was being interviewed. He had his nine-piece band with him(including back-up singers) and they played several tunes to the delight of about 30 of us lucky enough to be there. Forty years later and sounding GREAT!! Also worked with Lee Michaels & have a great pic of him & me reading a "Tiger Mag".
