Question for Vic Moreno (as I know he reads this site):
Why did you look so much more conservative (short hair etc) compared to all the other guys on the folder cover?
i have always thought Mr. Vic was totally hip/cool/with it in his own personable way, notwithstanding outward appearances. never made that judgment back then, and still don't.
ah, hair again, huh -- will it ever end??? methinks it's time for this One to listen for a couple of spins of the Cowsills 1969 single "HAIR"!

these lyrics are as relevant today as when Frank Zappa first wrote them 42 years ago:

I remember having that photo taken.
Al Anthony sent me to a photo guy
in Riverside and that's what he came up
with. You'd think it was taken with
a simple camera.
I had just gotten out of the military
5 months earlier. Is that a good reason?
I didn't fit the long-hair mold of
the others at the time. But that was
their gig and I was there as I was then
and now--with less hair now.

yes, Sir, "The Nacho" is still one of the nicest gentlemen from the Tiger crew of the 1970's, hair or no hair, long or the short it...
BTW to VIC MORENO:
that "photo guy in Riverside" must have been the same outfit which produced a black & white series (with the background high-lighting) of the KF jocks during your period there... this One recalls large quantities printed of that series (for all the Tiger crew) being given way in sets for contests, public appearances, and sales contact presentations.
I just "borrowed" the pic I had taken at K/men, however, it had to have my head cut out and seperated from my body (but it didn't hurt a bit...)
