The 1967 School Spirit Contest final results with the schools that participated. Where did your school end up?
In April 1967 I was going to Arrowview Jr. High, and we ended up in 35th Place!!

KFXM The Jones Boys

Question #2 Question on KFXM Jones Boys era.I know they started around10/25 or 28 1968.When did they stop calling themselvesJones Boys and go back to regular names? That's about right on the date they started. The Jones Boys were first mentioned in the Tiger Mag before this one (Nov 1, 1968) and continued until at least March 1969, and maybe later. I know definitely there were no Jones Boys in July 1969. Between March 28th and July 4th there were no Tiger Mags or surveys printed up, so the date of transformation isn't readily available.
Some of the first pictures of the Jones Boys.

K/MEN School Spirit Contest

Question #1
One Kmen contest had schools competing to turn in the most writings of some sentence or slogan. I think the Catholic Schools got together and all submitted for Aquinas High School so they won the prize which I think was a concert. When was the contest and what was the phrase/sentence??John from Fontana (back then)
Aquinas did win, but I never did hear about any help from other schools. But I guess it is a possibility. The phrase you wrote was your signature, and you could write it as many times as possible. The prize was definitely a concert. The last article in this posting tells about the concert. Click on the pictures to enlarge and read the details. By the way the year was 1967.

New Doug-KFXM-K/MEN personalized logo

Ok...I like this new and improved logo. Anyone agree?
Thought I would come up with a new logo. I designed one I liked. Made a few adjustments. Now I have two. EdGrrr, Bernard and Doug from 1966. Any opinions which looks better? The natural look or the Surrealistic tile look?
I haven't decided what to use yet. I will consider your opinions, since you'll be looking at the logo.
