KFXM and K/men July 3, 1970

#1 Close To You-Carpenters
Highest Debut #14 Loveland-Charles Wright & The Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band
But notice it's falling off the K/men 30 Future Hits
Lay A Little Lovin On Me-Robin McNamara
Ooh Child-Five Stairsteps
actually all five of the songs are really different from each other. Only Pearl-Tommy Roe didn't do that well on the charts

#1 The Love You Save-Jackson 5
Highest Debut Big Yellow Taxi-Joni Mitchell #25
Hitbound
I always liked Silver Bird-Mark Lindsey

Never paid much attention to this
but there are 2 separate songs with
the same title on the charts at
this time:
MISSISSIPPI

That ever happened before?

Didn't really care for the
Mountain one but loved the
John Phillips one.
