Johnny Kaye moved to Midnight-6AM.
Per Howard Tullis !!!!

That's ok, he got more than
even. Turned into a great
programmer including LA and other
places. Highly regarded for
having a magic touch in what he
does. Look at what he's done
with KRTH. He always had a keen
ear for what sounded right.

Little story. He'd come in to
his 6pm shift daily and replace the
scotch tape on the turntable
motors that sped up the music
about 3%. When you heard the
same songs on KMEN, they just
sounded sllllllow. And other
tidbits.

So KFXM had a milk guzzling event at Inland Center Mall. Anybody know how big a crowd showed up? Those were definately different times...

Johnny Kaye, super guy, colleague and friend -- I've never forgotten this great radio broadcaster!
